Auchan hypermarket robbed of mobile phones in Aveiro

Five individuals carried out a robbery at the Auchan hypermarket located in the Glicínias Plaza shopping center in Aveiro during the early hours of Monday, September 14. The group entered the center through the East Entrance, bypassing several barriers to reach the hypermarket.

Once inside, the suspects targeted the telecommunications section, breaking displays to steal multiple mobile phones. The incident is being treated as a burglary by breaking and entering. While the total value of the stolen devices and the cost of the property damage have not yet been determined, the area remained cordoned off on Monday morning.

Authorities, including the PSP, are currently reviewing evidence, such as video surveillance footage, to identify the five suspects and clarify the circumstances of the theft.
