Auckland hosts wellness and arts festivals in September

Auckland is set to host two major community and cultural events this September. East Auckland Tourism has announced WellFest, a month-long celebration of wellbeing running from 1 to 30 September 2026. The initiative features over 45 events, including guided nature walks, craft workshops, community markets, and restorative sessions designed to promote movement and social connection.

Simultaneously, the Karangahape Road Business Association is launching the inaugural Karangahape Art Weekend from 18 to 20 September. This free three-day event aims to transform the Karangahape Road precinct into an interconnected arts destination. The weekend will include late-night gallery openings, artist talks, workshops, and live music, coinciding with the first full weekend of train services at the Karanga-a-Hape station.
