Auda beats Albania's Dinamo City in UEFA Conference League qualifier

Latvian club Auda secured a 1‑0 victory over Albania's Dinamo City in Riga during the first leg of the UEFA Conference League qualification round. The sole goal came in the 68th minute when Bartelemī Diedjū headed the ball into the net after a pass from Eduards Dašķevics. Dinamo City received two yellow cards, one to defender Fabjans Prendreka, and pressed for an equaliser in stoppage time, but Auda's goalkeeper Nils Puriņš made a crucial save.

The return match is scheduled for 13 August in Tirana. Auda entered the competition in the second qualifying round and currently holds third place in the Latvian championship, while Dinamo City finished fourth in the Albanian league and previously advanced past Kazakhstan's Astana and Slovenia's Aluminij in earlier rounds.
