Audacious Automotive unveils Audacious IV Audi Quattro tribute
Edinburgh-based Audacious Automotive has revealed the Audacious IV, a limited-edition restomod inspired by the iconic Audi Quattro. The vehicle combines the classic silhouette of the original Ur-Quattro with the mechanical underpinnings of the B7-generation Audi RS4, including its chassis, suspension, and six-speed manual transmission.
The car features a 4.2-liter V8 engine available in four configurations. Options include a standard supercharged version producing approximately 600 hp, a Stage Two package reaching 750 hp, and two high-revving variants capable of reaching a 10,000 rpm redline. The manufacturer claims the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 322 km/h.
Production is limited to 50 hand-built units. Customers can choose between a metal body requiring a donor RS4 or a lightweight carbon fiber body. Prices start at £350,000, excluding VAT and donor vehicle costs. The build process is expected to take approximately three years per car, with initial deliveries scheduled for late next year.
