Audacious Automotive unveils modern Audi Quattro interpretation
British company Audacious Automotive has introduced the Model IV, a modern interpretation of the legendary Audi Quattro. The vehicle utilizes the mechanical foundation of the Audi RS4 B7, produced between 2006 and 2008, paired with the short-wheelbase design characteristic of the original Quattro.
Engineered with a 4.2-liter V8 engine, the Model IV will be offered in four configurations. The base version features a mechanical supercharger producing 600 horsepower, while a Stage Two package increases output to 750 horsepower through internal engine reinforcements and improved cooling and fuel systems. The most extreme version is capable of reaching 10,000 RPM.
Buyers can choose between an original Quattro body or a carbon fiber body, the latter of which is expected to account for approximately 80 percent of production. The carbon fiber version significantly reduces weight to roughly 1,200 kilograms. All models will feature a six-speed manual transmission. Production is limited to 50 units at the company’s facility in Edinburgh, Scotland, with initial deliveries expected late next year.
