Audacy partners with MeidasTouch Network for podcast distribution

Audacy has entered into a strategic partnership with the MeidasTouch Network to manage the distribution and advertising sales for the flagship “MeidasTouch Podcast”. The agreement is set to begin on September 1, coinciding with an increase in political advertising activity during the midterm election cycle.

MeidasTouch, founded in 2020 by brothers Ben, Brett, and Jordan Meiselas, has grown from a political action committee into a significant independent media network. The network’s flagship podcast averages 525,000 downloads per episode and generates approximately 2 million impressions weekly, with 82 percent of that reach originating from YouTube.

The partnership involves Soros Fund Management, which recently led MeidasTouch’s first fundraising round and is also the largest shareholder of Audacy. Audacy aims to leverage its sales team to expand the network’s reach and explore potential expansion into traditional radio.
