Audax Piobbico unveils 2026‑27 youth‑focused football project

On 25 July, Audax Piobbico held an official presentation at Palazzo Brancaleoni to launch its programme for the 2026‑27 Prima Categoria (Girone A) season. The club’s management, led by director Ermes Blasi, emphasized that the plan centres on core values, youth development and long‑term programming.

Former professional player Paolo Pupita, who rose through the local academy before debuting for Cesena in Serie A, highlighted the region’s distinctive character and its role in shaping his career. The event also announced the appointment of Omar Manuelli, a UEFA‑A‑qualified coach with experience at Fano, Jesina and Gualdo, as head coach of the first team.

Speakers recalled Piobbico’s historic ties to Italian football, noting the town’s past as a summer‑training base for Serie A clubs. The presentation underscored the community’s involvement and the club’s aim to sustain and grow local football heritage.
