Audax unveils new e-bikes and 32-inch wheel models at Shimano Fest

Audax has introduced several new bicycle models at Shimano Fest in Brazil, focusing on high-capacity e-bikes and experimental wheel sizes.

The Audax Furion+ e-bike line features two versions, the E6 and E8, which utilize a combined battery system of 1170 Wh (comprising a 630 Wh Shimano unit and a 540 Wh extender). This configuration aims to provide the highest battery capacity in its category in Brazil, facilitating longer rides on demanding trails. The Furion+ E6 is equipped with a Shimano EP6 motor providing 85 Nm of torque and 500 W peak power, while the top-tier E8 uses a Shimano EP8 motor capable of 600 W peaks. Both models feature carbon full-suspension frames and 29-inch wheels.

Additionally, Audax is debuting the Auge Plus and Auge 32 models, which introduce 32-inch wheels to the Brazilian market. This move follows global trends toward larger wheel diameters to improve obstacle clearance and stability on irregular terrain. The Auge Plus features a carbon frame and Shimano Deore XT 12-speed transmission.
