Audemars Piguet Unveils New Royal Oak Bleu Nuit Flying Tourbillon
Swiss luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet announced the launch of a new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon crafted in its signature "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" ceramic. The 41 mm octagonal case and integrated bracelet are made from the same midnight‑blue ceramic that was first used on the original 1972 Royal Oak dial.
The watch houses the in‑house calibre 2950 movement with a 3 Hz beat rate, 65‑hour power reserve, 27 jewels and a 22 k gold rotor finished in rhodium. It features a grande tapisserie dial in the matching blue shade and a visible tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position. Water resistance is limited to 50 m, and the piece is offered on‑demand rather than as a limited edition.
