Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC wins EISA Award for audio excellence

Audeze has received the EISA Award for audio excellence for its new Maxwell 2 ANC gaming headset. The award recognizes the device for its gaming audio performance and design tailored to player needs.

The headset features 90-mm planar magnetic drivers and SLAM technology to provide spatial detail and precise bass. It includes active noise cancellation (ANC) using microphones located in the earcups to reduce noise in real time. Other technical specifications include Bluetooth 5.3 with low latency, a battery life exceeding 40 hours, and a ventilated comfort headband.

While the headset is noted for its high-quality build using metal and leather-like materials, it is described as being relatively heavy at 560 grams. Users can utilize a removable microphone, and the device offers significant passive isolation in addition to its ANC capabilities.
