Audi A2 e-tron: Interior details of the 2026 electric model

Audi is reviving the A2 nameplate with the 2026 A2 e-tron, an electric compact vehicle designed with a focus on aerodynamics and space efficiency. The vehicle features a drag coefficient of 0.24 and an interior designed to maximize perceived space through a minimalist aesthetic and horizontal dashboard layout.

The cockpit includes an 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit Plus for the driver and a 12.8-inch curved MMI touch display for infotainment. The system utilizes artificial intelligence and includes an e-tron route planner. To increase utility in the center console, the gear selector has been moved to the steering column, creating a more open area between the front seats.

Technological features include a Qi 2.2 compatible wireless charging station capable of charging two smartphones simultaneously at up to 25 watts with active cooling. The interior also utilizes a ‘Softwrap’ design, featuring fabric-covered surfaces that extend across the dashboard and door panels.
