Audi and BMW models lead automotive reliability tests

Automotive reliability tests conducted by experts from publications such as Auto Świat and Auto Bild have identified several high-performing vehicle models that completed 100,000 kilometers without significant mechanical failures. The tests involved rigorous driving conditions followed by detailed teardowns to inspect for wear, corrosion, and hidden defects.

German premium models, specifically the Audi A4 Avant and Audi A3 Sportback, received top marks, with engines, transmissions, and interiors remaining in near-new condition. BMW models, including the X1 and the 320d series, also demonstrated high resistance to wear and completed the tests without unplanned service visits.

From the Japanese market, the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 3 were noted for their durability and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the Seat Ateca, powered by German mechanics, and Volkswagen models such as the Golf and Tiguan showed minimal material wear, justifying their strong presence in the used car market.
