Audi and Polestar to debut electric vehicle concepts at eCarExpo
The eCarExpo event at Friends Arena in Stockholm will feature major premieres for electric vehicles. Audi is set to host the public world premiere of the Audi A6 Avant e-tron concept, a station wagon model boasting a range of up to 700 km and charging capacities of up to 270 kW. The production version is expected to share 90–95% of its characteristics with the concept.
Polestar will also present the Polestar O2 concept, marking its European premiere. The electric roadster represents the company’s vision for future electric sports cars. Polestar’s design chief, Maximilian Missoni, is scheduled to participate in an industry seminar regarding design, sustainability, and innovation.
In separate automotive testing, the Audi A6 e-tron, BMW i5, and Volvo ES90 were compared in a premium electric vehicle test. The Audi A6 e-tron emerged as the winner of the comparison. While the Volvo ES90 was noted for its quiet comfort and spacious interior, it faced criticism regarding its touch-focused driver environment, quality issues, and braking performance.
