Audi, BMW and Mercedes Preview 2027 Electric and Hybrid Car Lineup

Automakers are unveiling a range of new or redesigned models slated for 2027, aiming to boost a market challenged by weak sales and economic headwinds.

Audi plans to replace its iconic TT with an all‑electric sports car built on a platform co‑developed with Porsche, targeting a starting price around $70,000. The company also highlighted the Audi Nuvolari, a six‑figure plug‑in hybrid supercar derived from Lamborghini's powertrain.

Mercedes‑AMG will offer the CLE 53, a performance‑oriented sedan that, while not fully electric, features a premium interior and strong power output.

BMW’s high‑performance M division will introduce an M‑badge version of the 2027 i3 electric sedan, equipped with four individual electric motors, all‑wheel drive and an estimated 1,000 horsepower.
