Audi electric SUVs undergo long-distance and market testing

Audi's electric SUV lineup is being evaluated through long-distance testing and used car market analysis. The Audi Q6 e-tron entry-level model, featuring an 83 kWh battery (75.8 kWh usable), was tested on a 450-kilometer trip to Paris. Despite the smaller battery, the vehicle utilizes 800V technology, allowing for fast charging speeds of up to 225 kW, which can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes.

In the used car market, the older Audi e-tron models offer a more affordable entry into luxury electric SUVs. The e-tron 55 quattro features a 95 kWh battery and dual electric motors producing 408 hp, while the e-tron 50 utilizes a 71 kWh battery. These models are noted for high comfort levels, advanced digital cockpits, and optional virtual side mirrors that use cameras instead of traditional glass.
