Audi F1 drivers face pace challenges at Monza Grand Prix

Audi's Formula 1 drivers, Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg, faced mixed results during practice sessions at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Bortoleto showed early promise by finishing 8th in the first free practice (TL1) but dropped to 15th in the second (TL2), noting difficulties in utilizing soft tires.

Nico Hülkenberg finished both sessions in 13th place. He reported a loss of rhythm between the sessions, stating that while TL1 was positive, the car's performance declined during TL2. The team is currently analyzing data to address this loss of pace.

Despite concerns regarding engine performance on the high-speed Monza circuit, the team aims to continue their recent streak of scoring points. Audi has secured top-10 finishes in the last four races, with both drivers contributing to the team's current eighth-place standing in the constructors' championship.
