Audi Japan launches A3 ‘Urban Mode’ special edition

Audi Japan has launched the ‘A3 Sportback/Sedan Urban Mode’, a special edition of its premium compact series, through authorized dealers nationwide. Based on the 30 TFSI Advanced trim, this edition integrates two popular option packages as standard equipment: the ‘Convenience & Assistance Package’ and the ‘Navigation Package’.

Standard features include a surround view camera, Park Assist Plus, adaptive cruise assist, electric front seats, seat heaters, and a three-zone automatic air conditioner. The navigation package adds the MMI navigation system, Virtual Cockpit Plus, and an Audi sound system. Exterior enhancements include 17-inch five-parallel-spoke alloy wheels and Matrix LED headlights.

The vehicles are powered by a 1.5-liter direct-injection gasoline turbo engine producing 116 PS and 220 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed S tronic transmission. A 48V mild-hybrid system is utilized to improve energy recovery and efficiency during coasting. The A3 Sportback is priced at 4.99 million yen, while the Sedan is priced at 5.18 million yen.
