Audi launches 1001‑hp Nuvolari hybrid supercar as Citroën plans new C4 Picasso MPV

Audi announced the Nuvolari, a limited‑edition hybrid supercar that will replace the R8. The two‑seat model will be powered by a 4‑litre V8‑hybrid delivering 1,001 hp (736 kW) and features a carbon‑fiber body, all‑wheel drive with Quattro Predictive Ride, a top speed above 350 km/h and 0‑100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. Production is capped at 499 units, with a price of roughly €590,000, and deliveries are expected to begin in early 2027 after a 2026 launch.

Citroën revealed that its iconic C4 Picasso will be completely redesigned as a spacious, design‑focused MPV inspired by the ELO concept shown at the Brussels Motor Show. The upcoming model will adopt a conventional dashboard, offer 5‑ or 7‑seat layouts, and favour a single central infotainment screen over multiple displays. CEO Xavier Chardon highlighted the brand’s emphasis on practicality and restrained technology, noting that future Citroëns will not be saturated with screens.
