Audi launches Q4 e-tron facelift with premium interior and bidirectional charging
Audi has refreshed its Q4 e-tron electric SUV, the brand’s best‑selling EV since its 2021 debut. The facelift retains the existing body shape but adds subtle exterior tweaks such as a single‑frame grille painted in body colour, new light signatures and fresh colour and wheel options.
Inside, the cabin receives a major overhaul. A new digital cockpit features an 11.9‑inch instrument cluster, a 12.8‑inch central touchscreen and, optionally, a third 12‑inch passenger screen. The infotainment system runs Android Automotive and includes an Audi‑assistant with ChatGPT functionality. Higher‑grade interior trims replace cheap plastics with softer, scratch‑resistant surfaces, giving the cabin a more premium feel.
Technical updates include revised electric motors, upgraded power electronics and new lubricants that boost efficiency, adding up to 30 km of range. The Sportback Performance now reaches up to 592 km (WLTP). Fast‑charging capacity rises to 185 kW, and the model introduces bidirectional charging – Vehicle‑to‑Load and, where supported, Vehicle‑to‑Home – allowing the car to supply power to external devices or act as a home battery.
