The news originated from a social media post on Threads, which shared an image of a woman embracing a couple identified by the initials AM and AX. While the faces in the image were obscured by emojis, the post stated that the pair, who were previously seeking separation, had changed their minds and agreed to reconcile.

Richard Edwin Basoeki, spokesperson for the South Jakarta District Court, expressed positive sentiment regarding the reports, noting that it is ideal when domestic disputes can be resolved through peace rather than a formal divorce ruling. The court is currently awaiting official reports regarding the status of the case.
