Audi Nuvolari supercar completes final Nürburgring tests ahead of 2027 launch

Audi is finalising development of its Nuvolari hyper‑car at the Nürburgring, with test sessions confirming that the production model will remain virtually identical to the prototype shown at the Monaco Grand Prix. The vehicle combines a 4‑litre twin‑turbo V8 delivering 800 hp with three 150 hp electric motors and a 7.3 kWh battery, producing a total system output of 1,001 hp. Performance figures include 0‑100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of about 350 km/h.

Key aerodynamic features observed during the run‑outs include an active rear wing that can assume three settings, providing up to 400 kg of downforce when maximised. Production will be strictly limited to 499 units, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2027. The latest spy photos show the car still camouflaged but clearly matching the design details revealed at its official debut.

The testing programme underscores Audi’s focus on refining handling and braking – the latter derived from Formula 1 technology with carbon‑ceramic components – before the limited‑run model reaches customers worldwide.
