Audi has officially unveiled the A2 e-tron, a compact electric hatchback that revives the iconic A2 nameplate after more than two decades. Developed in Germany and produced in Ingolstadt, the vehicle is built on an evolved version of the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.

The model is positioned as Audi’s most efficient production vehicle to date, boasting a drag coefficient of 0.24. Depending on the configuration, it offers four power outputs ranging from 170 hp to 326 hp, all featuring rear-wheel drive. Battery options include 52 kWh and 61 kWh LFP packs, as well as an 84 kWh NMC pack for higher-performance versions. The 84 kWh battery enables a maximum WLTP range of up to 646 kilometers.

Key technical features include 183 kW DC fast charging, capable of a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 29 minutes. The interior features the Audi digital stage, comprising an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch curved central display. The vehicle also supports bidirectional charging (V2L and V2H). Orders are expected to open in September 2026, with initial deliveries scheduled for late 2026 or early 2027.
