Audi RS3 maintains high resale value amid new ABT performance edition

The 2020 Audi RS3 is maintaining unexpectedly high resale values in the European market. Despite being six years old, models have only seen a depreciation of between 15% and 35%, defying the typical trend for high-performance compact sports cars which often lose half their value in a similar timeframe. This stability is attributed to the high demand for its 400 hp five-cylinder engine and the high initial costs of new models, which included significant ecological taxes and insurance expenses.

In a related development in the high-performance sector, German tuning specialist ABT Sportsline is celebrating its 130th anniversary with the release of the RS3 630. This limited edition, restricted to only 30 units, features significant mechanical upgrades including a larger turbo, new intercooler, and a methanol injection system, boosting output to 630 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The vehicle also features aerodynamic carbon fiber components and specialized suspension to handle the increased power.
