Audi unveils 2027 SQ9 and third-generation Q7 luxury SUVs

Audi has introduced new iterations of its luxury SUV lineup, including the high-performance SQ9 and the third-generation Q7.

The 2027 Audi SQ9, a performance version of the large Q9 SUV, features a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine producing 599 hp and 81.6 kgfm of torque. Designed with a focus on the United States market, the SQ9 offers three rows of seating for up to seven passengers and utilizes quattro all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution. It is expected to reach North American markets in the fourth quarter of 2026 with a starting price of $118,000.

The third-generation Audi Q7 arrives built on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture. The standard model features a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 429 hp, while the SQ7 variant is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 producing 591 hp. In the United States, pricing for the 2027 Q7 starts at $71,000, with the SQ7 starting at approximately $99,000.
