Audi unveils Q9, its largest flagship SUV

Audi AG announced the Q9, the brand’s largest ever SUV. The vehicle measures 5.31 m in length, 2.21 m in width, 1.81 m in height and has a 3.14 m wheelbase, and it will be built in Europe. It is offered with a 3.0‑litre V6 diesel engine delivering 220 kW (299 PS) and 630 Nm of torque, with a lower‑output version of 180 kW available in some markets. Key innovations include third‑generation curved digital OLED rear lights, automatic opening and closing electric doors with obstacle detection and remote control via the myAudi app, and Audi’s biggest panoramic sunroof – over 1.5 m² – as standard. The Q9 comes with a standard seven‑seat layout and an optional six‑seat configuration, and it will be delivered in Germany from late July with first customer hand‑overs slated for the fourth quarter of the year. The entry‑level Q9 TDI is priced at €108,400 in Germany.
