Audi unveils limited‑edition Nuvolari supercar at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Audi showcased its new Nuvolari supercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England, on the hill‑climb course (1.86 km). The prototype, described by the company as the fastest and most powerful production Audi ever built, will be produced in a run of 499 units with first deliveries slated for the first half of 2027.

The car was driven by nine‑time 24‑Hour Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, who highlighted the integration of race‑derived technology such as quattro four‑wheel drive, active aerodynamics and a unified braking system. In addition to the Nuvolari, Audi displayed a fully restored Auto Union Lucca – the historic 1935 “Rennlimousine” of the Silver Arrows – and introduced the new RS 5 plug‑in hybrid sport sedan alongside its RS2 and RS4 Avant predecessors.

The event, which runs from 9 to 12 July 2026, underscores Audi’s blend of heritage and modern performance as an official partner of the festival.
