Audi unveils Nuvolari high-performance hybrid supercar
Audi has unveiled the Nuvolari, a high-performance hybrid supercar that serves as a technological flagship for the brand. The vehicle produces 1,001 PS and is capable of reaching speeds exceeding 350 km/h. Production is strictly limited to 499 units worldwide.
Audi CEO Gernot Döllner described the project as a ‘technological North Star,’ intended to demonstrate the company’s ability to rapidly realize complex ideas, noting that the car was developed from initial sketches to a functional prototype in just 405 days.
The Italian city of Mantova hosted the national debut of the model. The event integrated the car's presentation with local heritage, featuring stops at Palazzo Te and the Museo Nuvolari. At the museum, the Nuvolari was displayed alongside the historic Auto Union Type D, a racing car driven by Tazio Nuvolari, to highlight the connection between the brand's racing legacy and its future technological direction.
