Audi unveils Nuvolari hybrid supercar with 1,001 hp

Audi presented the Nuvolari, its first hybrid supercar and the brand's most powerful model to date. The limited‑edition vehicle will be produced in a run of 499 units and combines a 4.0‑litre twin‑turbo V8 delivering 800 hp with three electric motors for a total output of 1,001 hp (736 kW). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and exceeds 350 km/h in top‑speed, featuring a central‑engine layout, lightweight carbon‑fiber bodywork, an evolved quattro all‑wheel‑drive system and active aerodynamics with a manually‑operated DRS rear wing.

Audi’s CEO Gernot Döllner hinted that a spy‑der (open‑top) version may follow, but clarified that it would not be produced in another batch of 499 units. The Nuvolari thus remains a rare, highly‑speced offering for the market.
