Audi unveils Nuvolari hypercar, limited to 499 units

Audi introduced the Nuvolari hypercar at the Monaco Grand Prix, its first hybrid super‑sports car built on the Lamborghini Temerario platform. The limited‑production model delivers 1,001 kW (1,360 hp) and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h, with 0‑100 km/h achieved in 2.6 seconds.

Only 499 coupes will be built, priced at about €600,000 and scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2027. The car features a 4.0‑litre V8 twin‑turbo engine paired with three axial‑flow electric motors, a 7.3 kWh lithium‑ion battery, and Audi’s quattro predictive‑ride system. Its design follows a “radical simplicity” philosophy, with carbon‑fiber‑reinforced polymer bodywork, active aerodynamics, and a titanium‑coloured exterior taken from Audi’s Formula 1 programme. Plans for a Spyder version have been hinted at, though no production numbers have been confirmed.
