Audi has unveiled the Q9, its largest flagship SUV to date, positioned above the Q7 and targeting the premium three‑row market. The vehicle measures 5.31 m long, 2.21 m wide, 1.81 m high with a 3.14 m wheelbase, making it the biggest Audi SUV ever built at the Bratislava plant.

The Q9 offers seven‑seat standard accommodation and an optional six‑seat layout with individual captain’s chairs. Prices start at €108,400 in Europe (≈ Rs 1.18 crore), $89,095 in the United States, and a comparable Indian price of about Rs 1.18 crore. International deliveries begin in November 2026, with the Indian market scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.

Powertrains are market‑specific: a 3.0‑L V6 diesel (299 hp, 630 Nm) with a mild‑hybrid system for Europe, a 2.9‑L V6 petrol (429 hp) for the US, and a high‑performance SQ9 version using a 4.0‑L V8 delivering 591 hp. The Q9 features digital Matrix LED headlights, curved digital OLED tail‑lamps, automatic electric doors with obstacle‑detection sensors, and the largest panoramic glass roof Audi has ever fitted (>1.5 m²) with optional electro‑chromic tinting. Interior technology includes multiple digital screens, a Bang & Omni sound system and advanced driver‑assist functions.
