Audi unveils largest Q9 SUV, debuting globally
Audi introduced the Q9, its biggest and most spacious SUV to date. The flagship measures 5.31 m in length, 2.21 m in width, 1.81 m in height and has a 3.14 m wheelbase, making it the largest Audi ever produced. It offers three rows of seating for seven passengers with an optional six‑seat business‑class layout.
The model is built at Audi’s Bratislava plant in Slovakia and will be delivered internationally from November 2026. Pricing starts at €108 400 in Europe, $89 095 in the United States and roughly Rs 1.18 crore in India. Power‑train choices include a 3.0‑L V6 diesel (299 hp, 630 Nm) with a 24 hp mild‑hybrid boost, a 2.9‑L V6 petrol (429 hp) for the US market, and a high‑performance SQ9 equipped with a 4.0‑L V8 delivering 591 hp.
Key technology features comprise digital Matrix LED headlights, curved OLED tail‑lamps, automatic electric doors with obstacle‑detection sensors, 20‑23 in alloy wheels with acoustic‑foam inserts, a panoramic glass roof larger than 1.5 m², and a three‑screen interior layout (12.3‑in digital cockpit, 14.5‑in infotainment, 12.3‑in rear passenger display).
