Audible presents immersive Dracula audio adaptation at Venice Film Festival
Audible has presented an immersive audio adaptation of Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ at the Venice Film Festival. The production features an Italian cast including Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli. Directed by Mary Lambert, the adaptation is one of seven language versions produced globally, utilizing advanced audio technology and original soundtracks to create a cinematic and psychological experience.
The project highlights the growing role of audio storytelling in a digital age. Audible, an Amazon-owned company operating in over 180 countries, reported that users listened to nearly six billion hours of content in 2025. In Italy, where the service has operated for ten years, the catalog includes over 70,000 titles, including audiobooks, podcasts, and original productions.
