Audiences walk out of Dejan Donkov performance in Plovdiv

During the opening of the Autumn Arts Salon at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, dozens of audience members walked out of a mono-performance by Dejan Donkov. The play, centered on the legendary character Don Juan, failed to maintain the interest of much of the crowd.

Reports indicate that the first spectators began leaving as early as the sixth minute, with a queue forming at the exit by the twentieth minute. The performance was criticized for a lack of clear logic, sequence, and dramatic support, with some observers describing the production as feeling like a farce or an attempt to fill a void through improvisation and provocative language.
