Audio companies announce new technology for CEDIA Expo 2026

Several audio companies have announced upcoming product debuts for the CEDIA Expo 2026, scheduled for September 1-4 in Denver, Colorado.

ASCENDO Immersive Audio will introduce its Panoramic Surface On-Wall speaker. This ultra-shallow device utilizes proprietary full-range composite radiating surface technology designed to address high-frequency beaming. The technology aims to provide consistent dispersion and a broad radiation pattern approaching 180 degrees, intended for surround and height-channel applications in immersive home cinema systems.

Harman Luxury Audio will preview new products from JBL Synthesis and ARCAM. JBL Synthesis is set to debut its full SCL Custom Loudspeaker lineup, which includes in-wall, in-room, built-in, and on-wall models. A key highlight is the SCL-9XL, the brand’s first on-wall speaker designed for high output. Additionally, the company will showcase the JBL Synthesis SDP-70, a 24-channel immersive AV processor featuring Dirac Live Active Room Treatment.
