Audio manufacturers release new earbuds with advanced noise cancellation
Several audio manufacturers are releasing new earbud models featuring advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) technology.
Huawei has introduced the FreeBuds Neo, which utilizes a dual-channel noise cancellation architecture and a third-generation Huawei audio chip. The system uses adaptive algorithms to analyze environmental noise up to 400,000 times per second, allowing the device to automatically switch between Comfort, General, and Ultra modes to balance isolation and user comfort.
Anker’s Soundcore P42i offers adaptive ANC capable of attenuating up to 55 dB of ambient noise. These earbuds support the LDAC codec for high-resolution audio on Android devices and provide up to 56 hours of total battery life including the charging case.
Bose is returning to the wired earbud market with the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, its first wired model since 2015. Designed with a USB-C connector for modern device compatibility, these earbuds feature two microphones per earbud to facilitate noise reduction and aim to provide a reliable, battery-free alternative for users.
