Audio-Technica to release ATH-M20xSTS streaming headset

Audio-Technica is set to release the ATH-M20xSTS, an entry-level wired headset designed specifically for streamers and content creators, on August 28. Priced at approximately 16,940 yen, the model combines the design philosophy of the M-series studio monitor headphones with the microphone technology found in the AT20 series.

The headset features 40mm CCAW voice coil drivers with strong magnetic force, providing flat frequency response and high resolution suitable for both podcasting and gaming. It includes a cardioid condenser microphone on a flexible boom arm that allows for quick muting by flipping the arm up.

Designed for comfort during long sessions, the device weighs approximately 236g and utilizes breathable mesh ear pads. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm 4-pole mini-plug, as well as USB Type-A and Type-C compatibility for use with PCs, mobile devices, and gaming consoles. To celebrate the launch, Audio-Technica is offering a promotional campaign through its online store and providing rental opportunities at eSPORTS CAFE AIM locations in Ikebukuro and Takadanobaba.
