Audius to secure Baden-Württemberg wildlife management cloud portal
The IT security specialist audius is providing comprehensive information security and data protection for the Wildtierportal Baden-Württemberg. This cloud-based platform is designed to centralize hunting and wildlife management processes for the first time on a single system.
Managed by the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development Baden-Württemberg (LGL), the portal integrates various users, including hunters, authorities, police, and veterinary offices. Key functionalities include reporting hunting results, recording wildlife accidents, disease monitoring, and managing land administration and subsidies.
The project represents one of the first cloud-only initiatives in the state of Baden-Württemberg, implemented to handle diverse usage scenarios and fluctuating access numbers.
