Audrey Guimard presents stone sculpture exhibition in Les Baux-de-Provence
Sculptor Audrey Guimard is presenting ‘La Pierre en Résonance’, a monumental open-air exhibition in Les Baux-de-Provence running from June 4 to October 31, 2026. Curated by Clara Le Fort, the exhibition features a path of sculptures, fountains, and totems that stretches from the village entrance to the Château.
The artworks, crafted from blonde stone, brass, and glass, are designed to interact with the historical landscape and the limestone of the Alpilles massif. Guimard describes her pieces as ‘points of tension between permanence and mutation, between weight and vibration, between density and transparency, receptacle and fragment.’
Notable works include ‘AION SPASMA – Brisure du temps,’ consisting of three monumental engraved limestone blocks, and ‘HELIX RHOE – La corolle des vents,’ a fountain combining sculpted stone with brass corollas. The exhibition aims to bridge contemporary creation with the region's heritage, honoring the history of local builders and artisans.
