Audrey Horne announces eighth studio album Achilles

Norwegian hard rock band Audrey Horne has announced the release of their eighth studio album, titled Achilles, scheduled for September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records. The album features 11 tracks that blend high-energy heavy rock with melodic and progressive elements.

The production was handled by guitarist Ice Dale at Conclave & Earshot Studio, with mixing by Herbrand Larsen and mastering by Lawrence Mackrory. The band, consisting of Toschie, Ice Dale, Thomas Tofthagen, Espen Lien, and Kjetil Greve, aims to showcase a sound influenced by 1970s and 1980s rock.

Key tracks include the title song Achilles, the Thin Lizzy-inspired God Damn Beautiful, and Insanity, which features lyrics inspired by Iron Maiden. The album concludes with the melodic track New Star Falling.
