AUGM hosts academic forums and management school in Uruguay

The Association of Universities Group Montevideo (AUGM) has launched its 5th Summer-Winter School at the University of the Republic (Udelar) in Uruguay. The event, which focuses on institutional evaluation, strategic planning, and university management, includes over 150 participants attending both in-person and online.

In conjunction with AUGM activities, anthropologist Rita Segato is visiting Uruguay to participate in the 9th Congress of University Extension. Her agenda includes postgraduate courses at Udelar, lectures on human rights in Latin America, and a meeting for female politicians at the Legislative Palace. These academic gatherings aim to foster dialogue regarding university autonomy, social commitment, and emancipatory dialogues within society.
