August Cultural Performances Announced in Chile and Spain

The Centro Cultural Carpa Azul in Cerro Barón, Chile, will stage a family‑friendly adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant” on 1 August. The event, part of the month‑long children’s program, combines theatre, music, dance and giant puppets, with a “pay‑what‑you‑can” entry fee and free admission for children under ten.

In Spain, the Orquesta Ciudad de la Mancha will present its first album, Santuario, on 10 August at the Teatro Cervantes in Campo de Criptana. The concert, part of the Arte Entre Gigantes festival, features a collaboration with Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa and guest musicians including Antonio Serrano, Bandolero and Mario Capodicasa.
