Augusto Puga arrested for threatening Camila Polizzi

The Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) arrested 48-year-old Augusto Puga for allegedly threatening Camila Polizzi, a former mayoral candidate for Concepción and content creator.

According to reports, Puga, Polizzi’s former partner, used private audio and video recordings as a means of intimidation. The investigation follows reports of aggressive messages sent via Facebook, where the suspect allegedly threatened to visit Polizzi’s home and warned that the situation could “get ugly” if she did not respond. Polizzi reported the incident to authorities due to fears for her safety and that of her daughters.

This incident follows a previous police intervention in March involving the two individuals during a domestic dispute, though charges in that instance were later withdrawn by the Public Ministry. Puga is scheduled to face formalization proceedings in the Concepción Guarantee Court.
