Augustów to host Futbol Plus tournament for young athletes with disabilities

The Futbol Plus national football tournament will take place on Sunday, October 11, at the CSiR Stadium in Augustów. The event features over 200 young male and female athletes with physical or intellectual disabilities from across Poland.

Organizers aim to challenge stereotypes regarding disability through adaptive sports. According to project coordinator Mateusz Cemka, the tournament is designed to demonstrate the power of adaptive sports, help participants build confidence, and foster social integration. The event serves as an opportunity for families to explore dedicated football sections and peer integration for children with disabilities.
