Aulani Disney Resort to host national television production in January

Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa has announced that a national television production will utilize a portion of Ko Olina Beach from January 23 through January 28, 2027.

While the specific production has not been officially identified by Disney Destinations, observers suggest it may be “American Idol,” as the show has a history of filming at the Hawaiian resort. During the scheduled filming dates, guests may observe or hear production activity, though a noise restriction will be in place between 10 PM and 7 AM. All other resort activities and amenities will remain available to guests along the rest of the beach.
