Aura launches digital photo frames in the Netherlands

US‑based Aura has introduced its Aura Frames line to the Dutch market. Four models are now sold through Aura’s own webshop and retailers such as Coolblue and MediaMarkt. The entry‑level Carver costs €159, the Carver Mat €189, the larger Aspen €249 and the premium Walden €349. The Carver features a 10.1‑inch screen, the Carver Mat adds a passe‑partout border, the Aspen offers an 11.8‑inch anti‑reflective display that can be used portrait or landscape, and the Walden is a 15‑inch frame that can be wall‑mounted or freestanding. All frames work with the Aura Frames app, allowing family and friends to send photos and videos from anywhere without the need for a subscription; storage is unlimited. Aura claims about nine million users worldwide and reports that more than a billion photos and videos were shared on its platform last year.
