Aurania Resources completes drilling at Thormodsdalur gold project

Aurania Resources Ltd. has announced the completion of its 2026 drilling program at the Thormodsdalur epithermal gold-silver project in Iceland. The program involved drilling eight diamond drill holes totaling 780.70 meters.

Company reports indicate that mineralized textures consistent with an epithermal gold-silver system were observed in every hole. A significant technical achievement noted was the core recovery rate, which was near or at 100% in most instances, addressing limitations encountered during previous drilling programs where recovery was often 50% or less.

Many of the new holes were duplicates of historical drill sites intended to re-examine vein zones affected by prior core loss. Samples have been submitted to ALS for laboratory analysis, with results expected in November 2026.
