AURAS Inc. to host design installation in Tokyo

AURAS Inc. will host a special installation exhibition at the AURAS Residential Experience Center (AREC) in Roppongi, Tokyo, from October 10 to October 31, 2026. The event serves as a precursor to the DESIGNART TOKYO 2026 festival.

The exhibition features the Japanese debut of the ‘cloud’ design lighting by the Vancouver-based brand molo. The display includes various versions of the cloud-inspired pendant and mobile lights, alongside molo’s space-partitioning products like ‘softwall’ and ‘softblock’.

In collaboration with Cassina IXC, the event will showcase the new ‘OZU’ lounge chair, designed by Vico Magistretti, starting October 23. Additionally, the Cassina ‘KANGAROO’ lounge chair, inspired by Pierre Jeanneret, will be on display from October 10. The exhibition, produced by creative director Katsuhiko Taniguchi, will also feature original tie-dyed rugs created in collaboration with Kawashima Selkon Textiles.
