Aurelia Metals reports significant growth in mineral resources and ore reserves

Aurelia Metals Limited has announced significant growth in its mineral resources and ore reserves. The Australian mining company reported that Group Mineral Resource estimates increased by 6% to 30.6 million tonnes, while Group Ore Reserves rose by 49% to 8.2 million tonnes.

The company also raised its Group Production Target by 7% to 9.2 million tonnes, with an improved average Net Smelter Return of A$330 per tonne. The Peak Operation is identified as a primary copper-gold cornerstone, seeing a 22% increase in ore reserves to approximately 4.1 million tonnes and a 25% rise in its production target.

At the Federation Mine, the company is shifting focus toward higher-grade material, with lead and zinc grades increasing to 14.7%. Additionally, the New Occidental Tailings project reported its maiden mineral resource of 2.6 million tonnes of gold. Interim CEO Martin Cummings stated that these updates provide a foundation for long-life operations in the Cobar Basin.
