Aurelio De Laurentiis hints at potential sale of SSC Napoli

SSC Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis Serie A club sale Italian football

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has signaled a potential openness to selling SSC Napoli, provided an offer recognizes his 25-year tenure leading the club. While he has not officially put the team on the market, he indicated that any sale would need to account for the efforts made since rescuing the club from bankruptcy and leading it to two Scudetti and Champions League appearances.

In separate comments regarding Italian football, De Laurentiis praised the competitiveness of Serie A, specifically highlighting Frosinone as a major surprise. He expressed a desire for a more balanced league where all teams are strengthened, rather than a divide between the top of the table and those fighting against relegation.
