Querétaro implements major road repairs and infrastructure investments

Authorities in Querétaro, Mexico, have announced several infrastructure and cultural developments. The municipal government reported the repair of over 31,000 potholes across 127,657 square meters of roadway, representing an investment of 83.3 million pesos. These efforts, primarily focused on the Centro Histórico, Epigmenio González, and Félix Osores Sotomayor districts, follow heavy rainfall that damaged local streets.

Additionally, the state government completed a 18.4 million peso rehabilitation project in the Constituyentes del Parque neighborhood. This project included the renewal of streets, sidewalks, and ramps, as well as the replacement of water and sewage networks and the construction of storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding.

In a cultural event, Governor Mauricio Kuri González honored musician and educator Aurelio Olvera Montaño for his six decades of contribution to the musical and cultural identity of Querétaro, recognizing his role in training generations of musicians.
