Aurora Gaming secured their spot in the lower bracket by defeating DENDELE. While Aurora previously suffered a loss to G2 Esports, their performance against DENDELE—winning 13-7 on their map pick and 16-12 in overtime on Mirage—keeps them in contention for the $1.1 million tournament prize pool. The competition is currently in its group stage, with playoffs scheduled to move to Porto, Portugal, from September 4-6.
